I recently ended a 6 year relationship, and I am going on my first date since the break up. This is kind of my first real date. I have been with the same guy since I was 17. We are going for coffee and then to see a movie. I don't know if I should offer to pay for my half of the date?? He would score points with me if he pays for me, but I am afraid that if I offer to pay my half he will get offended, if I don't he might think I am a gold digger. What is the ettiquette on this??First date advice??/?
Yes offer to pay. If he says no then he's a gentleman, but when you are out for coffee offer your 2 cents %26amp; see what he says will find out alot about his character that way also in how he responds to your offer.

Yes, offering to pay half, and not just assuming that he pays for all of it will work in your favor.
its good that you actually think like that, theres a lot of girls out there that would not even think of paying half!
i think the best thing 2 do is wait to see how it feels on the night.
if he pays 4 the coffee and film then why not ask if he fancies a drink after and insist on paying for them as he`s paid 4 the rest. i bet you`d score more points in his books 4 that!
