Advice on asking a date to a dance?

So I want to ask this girl that I really like to the homecoming dance that's in a few weeks. I currently have no idea how to dance to the loud music they always blare at my high school, and I want to approach the situation with as little social awkwardness as possible, any suggestions?Advice on asking a date to a dance?
Ask her like a Gentleman should. Then try to catch a few quick dance lessons. You probably know someone already who can teach you.


These affairs get so crowded you can't move on the floor much anyway, and my guess is if she goes with you, she'll be more interested in how you behave and chat than how you dance.

if you're in a public highschool, expect griding. if you're a freshman, it will be akward. there's no getting around it. if you haven't rubbed your crotch up on a girls *** while you essentially dry hump to the beat some raunchy rap song, what else can you expect besides awkwardness hahaha.





don't creep your hands around. just walk up to a girl (from the side, not the back... that's creepy) and just say ';hey you wanna dance?'; be casual! then just put your hands on their hips (not too high up ya prude) and just swing to the beat of the song. the more comfortable you are the more creative you can get. ya know, don't just go side to side but kind of work your hips too. you gotta judge the response from the girl too. if she isn't into it, bail and find a new girl. if she is into it, grind more.

well actually ';akwardnes'; is usually the best thing. cuz when its all akward somones gonna accidentally trip and kiss the other xD
